The Board’s expertise and dedication are critical to the success of the program, and they work to ensure that the quality of the content provided to students is high-level, relevant, and timely.
Visual Effects Supervisor, Filmmaker
Bruce Branit is a seven time Primetime Emmy nominee for VFX work on shows such as Lost, Star Trek, Breaking Bad and Westworld. But he is better known for his original content and short films. His film 405: The Movie is a ground breaking viral short which has been cited by Neill Blomkamp, Danny Trachtenberg and J.J. Abrams as an inspiration in their own filmmaking careers.
Bruce recently completed onset supervision for Westworld season 3.
Paul M. Leonard
Producer, Post-Production Producer
Paul has been working in the entertainment industry for over 22 years, with high profile credits such as Co-Producer on Battlestar Galactica, Co-Executive Producer on Defiance and Producer on The Son for AMC. In addition to his industry work, Paul has also taught editing and post-production for the University of Texas’ satellite program in Los Angeles.
Paul is currently Vice President of Post for Marvel TV.
John FK Parenteau
Producer, Visual Effects Supervisor, Filmmaker
John has worked in nearly every aspect of filmmaking during his career. During his early years after graduating from the University of Southern California’s prestigious School for Cinematic Arts, John began as a cinematographer, shooting a variety of projects including the Astronomer series for PBS, The Tale of Two Sisters for Director Adam Rifkin and stunt photography for USA Networks. John soon took his skills into the computer as a visual effects artist on projects such as Sin City and Star Trek: Voyager (for which he won an Emmy Award in 1995). John has had success in company management, visual effects supervision, film producing and development.
John is currently managing Hollywood corporate communications for Blackmagic Design while also producing content under his Lucamax Pictures banner.
